Refining the lithium battery recycling process

Lithium cells may differ depending on how they are created, but how does their recycling develop? Simply:

  • Initial selection, where the batteries are separated according to different characteristics.
  • Recovery of valuable materials.
  • Cleaning of materials, which are treated by specialized foundries, able to bring the elements back to their purest form.

This process before or after must be carried out, the desirable best practice would be the full use of batteries for 100% of their potential, and only after such a recycling and disposal, because we are still talking about expensive and potentially dangerous processes if not kept under control.

We at Galvani Power are committed to creating a circularity in our project.
